After successfully running their own studio Hudson-Powell in 2005, brothers Luke Powell and Jody Hudson-Powell became the twentieth and twenty-first partners of design studio Pentagram in 2015.
Over the past decade they have developed a varied portfolio encompassing graphic design, identity creation, creative technology and immersive experiences.
Luke and Jody have worked with a wealth of clients ranging from corporations to restaurants to production companies to pop stars. Projects they have worked on include: the identity, signage system and bespoke typeface for CocaCola’s BEATBOX pavilion at the London 2012 Olympics; the logo mark and visual identity for Canteen, an award-winning London based restaurant chain; the creation of the UK’s largest mobile operator – EE’s brand at Wolff Olins; a unique set of on-air idents for Nickelodeon that blended lo-fi live action and CGI to encourage ‘Kid Empowerment’; and the latest graphic identities for all three events of London Fashion Week (LFW).
