Héctor Monerris is a creative programmer self taught on filmmaking, music, design and animation. His past work for agencies features projects for Red Bull, Electronic Arts, Heineken and Starbucks.
His most personal work is built around hand drawing illustrations, monsters, puppets, funny nonsense and web technologies.
After going freelance in 2018, he launched his first solo project: One last beat. A homemade interactive short film that explores the purpose of life in a funny and reckless way. Héctor did everything for this project, including: handmade atrezzo, soundtrack, animation, code, and even filming himself playing different characters.
The Making of ‘One Last Beat’ is a wild story by itself. A story about how a color blind web developer created an interactive short film with 97$, cardboard, a 32 feet USB cable with the only help by his parents.
