What to expect?
What happens when you let go of creative control? In a world that often glorifies individual genius, this workshop shifts the focus toward the power of empathy, collaboration, and listening as key drivers of creative excellence. Led by Marco Ontano, former Creative Director for Leo Burnett (Turin) and Apple Music (London), and current Director of LABASAD’s Online Master in Creative Direction, this session will showcase projects that achieved creative excellence by putting people’s needs first.

The talk will also challenge a common paradox: how the desire to be recognized as creative professionals can sometimes hold us back rather than push us forward. By embracing a more collaborative and adaptable mindset, we can uncover new ways of working that lead to better results.
The interactive part of the workshop will engage participants in a creative exercise where they will respond to a brief in unexpected ways, encouraging adaptability, trust, and a fresh perspective on creative authorship. This workshop is designed to be engaging, thought-provoking, and a break from the usual solitary creative process, proving that no creative is an island.
